If you haven't noticed but Google just unveiled their first ever interactive doodle, they are honoring the 30th anniversary of Pacman. It's quite amusing especially playing around eating ghosts around Google's logotype. Have fun while it's still up. Quite interesting, it seems to be made only in HTML, no flash whatsoever. ...on the other hand if you like to game, and you have a MAC, you now have steam on your system, been screwing around with it for a bit, awesome design, definitely fits the style of the MAC ops. To make things funner, they added Portal for free, and they added the Half-Life 2 and episodes for MAC, supposedly more are coming; I'm just waiting for CS:S. Quickly please.
Anyone interested in typography, or the different ways of presenting a typeface, there are many alternative characters you can use in either Illustrator or InDesign to connect, add, or simply make text more attractive.
Here is an in-depth article/tutorial about this, and the many typefaces out there that have this addition included into them.
